Ways You Can Help
Opportunities to Serve

The San Diego Catholic Worker provides opportunities for people who wish to use their God-given talents in the service of others. For that reason we welcome everyone and discriminate against no one. We particularly welcome people who are dedicated to social justice and peace.

Friday Lunch, Monthly Clothes Distribution, Annual Dinner and Auction:

Sometimes we need people for specific services such helping with the Friday Lunch, or the Saturday morning clothes distribution, or the production or distribution of the Catholic Worker newspaper. We often need help with our Annual Meatball and Spaghetti Dinner and Auction. Gifts of goods or services that can be auctioned are particularly welcome.  Contact San Diego Catholic Workers at:  619-298-3755  or  send us an email

Donate clothing or help with distribution.  Contact Mona Ohlin at:  858-270-1072  or  send us an email

Other Opportunities:

To volunteer for any of the groups that we support, please contact the groups directly. For a complete list of all the services we provide and the agencies we support, please see San Diego Catholic Worker Today section in the San Diego Catholic Worker Story.
